The club also hosts a fun and therapeutic riding show. Gettysburg Riding Club is a charitable organization that donates the majority of its proceeds to local causes. One of our beneficiaries is the Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Program. In 2013, our club hosted our first fun benefit show for Shining Stars with classes which includes walk/trot, fun, and therapeutic classes, and this show continues to be an annual event! You may ride your English horse in the speed classes as well as your Western horse in the jumping classes. It's a fun day for all. Updated Class list will soon be available at the bottom of the page or email grchorsepark@gmail.com for a copy.
We will still be having our special Blue Gray class for 2024. It has yet to be named, but always a fun class for all. Blue Gray circuit is also celebrating 30 years in existence. Come help us celebrate!
We follow the USEF Rules including the requirement of a negative Coggins test within the last year and documentation of the EIV (Influenza) and EHV (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within 6 months for ALL horses entering the showgrounds.
