We welcome anyone that has an interest in horses and promoting horses in Adams County.
Anyone interested in joining the club is always welcome to attend our meetings!
Meetings are usually the 4th Thursday evening of each month and meet at 6pm to eat with meeting starting at 7pm.

Meeting dates:
January 25, 2024 - Meet at Sharpshooters (barn at Herr Tavern) at 6:00 if you want to get your dinner with meeting starting around 7:00. Dr. Kate Baldwin will be our speaker about horse health and any other animal that you may have a specific question about. She is also into endurance riding so you might have some questions on that. I will have membership and sponsor forms available. Please invite others that may be interested in the subject or in joining the club. In case of inclement weather we will update by 4:30 of meeting day.
February 22, 2024 - Meet at Sharpshooters (barn at Herr Tavern) at 6:00 for dinner or around 7 for dinner. Michelle Jennings of The Mill of Bel Air Feed Co will be our speaker. She can answer questions on feeding the horse and probably any other animals that you may need information on their feed and the digestive system of their horse. Please invite others that may be interested in the subject or in joining the club. In case of inclement weather we will update by 4:30 of the meeting day.

April 18 - Meet at the club grounds to start preparing show grounds for Upcoming Shining Stars Benefit Show. 6:00
April 25 - Final preparations for SST benefit show
April 27 - Saturday - 9:00 start Benefit for Shining Stars Therapeutic Ministries Show - Help is needed all day. Sweet Patch food truck will be there.
May 16 - Start preparation for First Blue Gray show. Start moving jumps getting things ready
May 23 - Finalize the preparation for first Blue Gray show. Everyone's help is appreciated.
May 26 - GRC first Blue Gray show - 8:00 start. Sweet Patch food truck will be there!
June 15 - Saturday - 4-H Round-up for 4-H members
June 20 - Prepare ring for Turning Point Blue Gray Show
June 27 - finalize ring for Turning Point Blue Gray Show
June 30 - Turning Point Blue Gray Show - 8:00 start- help will be needed all day - bluegrayhorseshows.com for pre-entry information. Sweet Patch food truck will be there.
August 15 - Refresh ring for Blue Gray show
August 22 - finalize ring for next Blue Gray show

Dates to be determined:
We are hoping to get together some clinics that members are interested in so that we can broaden our knowledge about our horses. We would like to schedule some trail rides also.

*MEMBERS, ALL WORK NIGHTS START AT 6PM, SATURDAYS USUALLY AROUND 10:00 (or whenever you can get there).
You may also come early and bring your horse to school in the ring or ride around the property.
Help with mowing, weed whacking, and raking the ring on any day/time is always welcome! :)
Bring your own beverages and something to share with the group for supper.
