Gettysburg Riding Club
Celebrating 60 years 1952-2012
Welcome to the Gettysburg Riding Club. Established in 1952, we are a non-profit group of horse lovers who come together to promote horses and horse activities in south central Pennsylvania. Each year, a portion of our proceeds goes to the Gettysburg Hospital, the Adams Co. 4-H Horse Club, and Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding. We are the longest, continuous contributor to the hospital, and we have also contributed to and have held horse shows benefiting the Adams Co SPCA.
Our club has its own show grounds, the Alice & Kennie Foust Equestrian Park, which is located at 102 Hounds Run in Gettysburg, PA 17325. We host several shows including the Blue & Gray and the Maryland Pennsylvania horse show circuits. Our members have a variety of riding interests, both western and English, from trail riding to fox hunting. We have monthly trail rides when the weather permits and several social events both with and without our horses throughout the year.
